Seeking a Junior Level Java Developer for rapidly growing Fatwire CS 7+ environment. Candidates need to be able to work both in JSP and JAVA, to maintain and deliver business functionality with the CMS framework. The individual will have interest and experience in troubleshooting Jboss java applications. The developer will be building solutions against our XML repository (JAVA & XQuery), a key asset in our expanding environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Document and share solutions.
- Working with end users in a publishing based deadline environment.
- Collaborating with other Development and support team members to build solutions
- Ability to use source control systems such as Subversion or CVS
Requirements:
- Practical experience following structured procedures for build and test phase activities
- Independent problem solving experience and debugging skills
- Strong understanding of Java and J2EE Web development
- Some exposure to XQUERY and XML.
- Relational database experience (ideally using Oracle)
- J2EE Container knowledge (ideally using a recent version of Jboss Server)
- Basic UNIX administration skills (ideally under Solaris)
- Familiarity with a CMS (Fatwire Content Server a plus)
